Let hair grow as much as possible. Wear a mask to help you maximize growth.
Do not apply moisturizers, make-up or sunscreen to your skin the day of the visit, or wash your face beforehand.
Do not wear perfume or strong products to ensure your Electrologist and/or other clients are not affected.
Do not drink, ingest or otherwise consume stimulants 48 hours prior to your visit. This includes topicals.
Eat and hydrate well
Get a good night's rest for the preceding two nights before your treatment. Lack of sleep/rest negatively impacts your tolerance
Do not sunbathe or have prolonged sun exposure 48 hours before your visit
If you are sniffling, coughing, have any sign of sickness, infection or open skin lesion, including pimples (broken skin), reschedule your appointment.
A pattern of cancelled appointments will result in charging up to the full visit on the form of payment you have agreed to keep on file for such occurrences.
Update your Electrologist of ANY change in your medical history
Remove all jewelry prior to your visit
Do not bring animals or children to your appointment. The spa environment is one of privacy and relaxation and is not conducive or welcoming of these added visitors.
Turn off all electronics prior to (before) entering the spa.
Allow time to use the restroom before your scheduled appointment time. We have facilities for you to use.
We run on time and do not want to reduce your treatment time or aftercare in order to maintain the schedule that all clients are adhering to.
Do not engage in heavy physical activity for 24 hours following your treatment.
Do not swim, go into the ocean, or use a sauna or jacuzzi for 24-48 hours after treatment, until your skin has calmed down
Do not engage in sun exposure or other UVA, UVB, or other light or energy environments or treatment(s) within 48 hours of your treatment.
Wear sunscreen when outside or in sunny interior settings
Ask about our recommendations for cleaning skin exposed to sunscreen
Avoid vigorous activity that may cause perspiration or friction on the treated area
If applying ice, ensure that a thin, soft fabric touches the skin
Avoid alcoholic consumption 24 hours following your treatment.
Eat and hydrate well.
